Hat jemand einen Vorschlag für eine für mein 16" ?

Durch die dGPU braucht das ein wenig mehr Platz 30c36cm; irgendwie sind die Bilder in den Onlineshops zu den Taschen immer sehr dürftig.

The cost of running a Mastodon instance:

1 TB of storage (an outrageous amount of storage if you ask me) is what you need for 35 active users, and it'll cost you €14/mo at Scaleway (European cloud provider). On top of that comes €38/mo for the web server, counting in at €52/mo.

Can you imagine how expensive it gets for a popular instance?

@thor So if I compare that with the providers that offer it, it would cost me about 57.70€/month.
I can't calculate it directly because I run a large server and virtualize it.

maybe you should use a cleanup script, it looks like you are saving a lot of old data.

Frage an die GM's hier, wie würdet ihr das Handhaben wenn die Spieler sich in den Kopf gesetzt haben wen zu töten der:

  1. eine hohe Position hat
  2. selbst sehr stark ist (über dem Spieler Niveau)

Ich hab ihnen schon gesagt, dass es keine kluge Idee ist aber ich denke die wollen es dennoch durchziehen.

I noticed a problem in my script, if the newest account that was notified is a SpamBot and I delete it, countless old accounts are notified again.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

So ich war jetzt am Rathaus und die konnten mir nicht direkt weiterhelfen, vor allem soll ich wissen, was für eine Gewerbeart RollenspielMonster ist. Wir haben jedenfalls in den Vorgaben die es da gibt nicht annähernd was passendes gefunden.

Nächster weg Finanzamt, nur das deren Öffnungszeiten echt interessant sind:
Mo, Di: 7.30 - 13.00 Uhr
Mi: 7.30 - 12.00 Uhr
Do: 11.00 - 16.00 Uhr
Fr: 7.30 - 12.00 Uhr

@stefan That's not clever, because then no pictures are uploaded but only an error is displayed. if so, then the delivery should be prevented, not the upload, because the pictures should be displayed after the event.
I think preventing the upload is too much of an intrusion into user behavior.

What's the best way to tidy up the public/system/cache folder in a instance?

My public/system/media_attachments is on 3.3GB.
However, public/system/cache/media_attachments is 22GB!
Similarly, public/system/accounts is 97MB, whereas cache/accounts is 22GB

How should I clear down this massive cache?

I've tried tootctl cache clear but nothing seems to change in the cache folder.

In total the cache folder is 55GB, everything outwith cache consumes only 6GB. It's making my backups massive and long to run.

Any help, or Boosts appreciated.

@bumble You need to execute more commands, not just the one just because it's called Cache.
I use "cleanup_tasks.sh --cleanup --searchdeploy --punconfirmed --psuspended" every day.

Ugh. I wish Fedi wasn't so reliant on domains....

Back when my naive self started Fedi, I went with the most known software (mastodon). But after months of dev incompetence, it's obviously not where I want to be, but I like my domain....

I guess I'm basically stuck with all these bad UI updates and no moderation features....😬🤦‍♂️
