happily it and a few of it's sisters who all got a bit smashed up in those storms have been left to decompose and re-sprout somewhat. Now covered in birch brackets and providing good habitat. A very unmanaged woodland thankfully.

Thought I would post a bit of garden stuff now I'm indoors.

So what grew well for you this year? and what didn't!
Our early heatwave brought on the best harvest of Peach and Nectarines so far. The trees are about 15 years old . in a polytunnel and grown from thrown away stones. Final harvest was 25kg of peach, 6kg of nectarines. Although later summer was nowhere near as hot they still had amazing flavour.
