I just found out that there is going to be a lot of people at my brother's house for Christmas. I was getting ready for a gathering of 8 and now that number went up to 18, 3 of them kids under 12.
I just don’t have the energy for that 😨

During my playthrough of Monster Hunter World...I found that I'm a ranged type of player after finding a lot of the melee weapons were not to my taste (save for the Insect Glaive).

I'm probably going to main the Light Bow Gun and Insect Glaive with a sprinkling of Heavy Bow Gun for beefy targets. I'm learning how to pick my reload and unload into the monster times!

I feel like I have to switch to a social persona that isn’t really me when I come to the office.

So I pressed the switch, started the energy drain, and I was all like: “Hi, good morning 😊”

And then the first reply I get is

“You look chubbier, save some space for the holidays 😂”

I’m going to try and be calm about this.

I have a couple friends with whom I’ve played MH world and Rise, so it could be nice to get into a new MH. We loved World but Rise not so much.

@WanderingInDigitalWorlds understandable, MH is its own thing combat wise, and doesn’t really have the fast paced action of games like Nier or the Witcher. I’ve been trying Remnant 2 and it’s sort of like MH but combat is faster, I’m only at the start though, but it’s fun so far.

I'm slowly trying to detach myself from Notion. All these AI implementations are not what I wanted, and it feels increasingly slower/more resource hungry.

@WanderingInDigitalWorlds I wish it was something like an extension or optional installation, and that they put more focus on improving performance. The app doesn't really feel that much slow but it now uses more than double the memory than a year ago.

For me this one amped up the relatable aspect. I also have a diary where I've redacted a traumatic event that I tend to not think or talk about, and I had to learn how to process it.

I don't blame Murderbot for not knowing how to process things; I'm human and I don't know how to process 90% of things. This read left me feeling emotions, it made me laugh, turn the page with excitement and even shed a couple tears.
