I've generally been skeptical of production as a viable route going forward, but when you see headlines like this, it makes you think that perhaps green hydrogen can make sense.

Although, being dependent on the unreliability or sharp imbalances of the weather is something akin to an oxymoron become manifest.

We've adopted the term "Allheimen" here in Norway

It means "All-Home", as in, the home for everything

I disagree with the current CEO of Mastodon about his stance on mid-sized instances. We don't want to be run in isolation, we are part of the Fediverse. "Normal users just want the default", he can repeat that as many times as he wants, it doesn't make it true because of that.

Diversity is the DNA of the Fediverse and Mastodon is just one part of the whole. Thousands of people spend their time and money to make it successful. Anyone who dismisses that and single-handedly tries to market the Fediverse as a Mastodon brand and use "crowding out" techniques to prevent users from even being encouraged to choose an instance from a diversity will ultimately fail.

I am super disappointed with the direction Mastodon Corporation is taking. If there is not enough headwind here soon, then sooner or later it will lead to a schism.

I fail to see how meaningful schisms can happen with an open standard. As long as people continue to implement ActivityPub, then any centralization efforts are doomed to be temporary.

People are unfamiliar with Mastodon and don't understand ActivityPub, but that will gradually change I think, and people will start to get more aware, and then their tastes will not be satisfied with crowding out on one central square.

Å lære norsk må innebære det å lære seg dialekter til tider.

Jeg vil ikke si nynorsk er den beste representanten for dialekt - akkurat det å bruke nynorsk er ikke noe jeg er spesielt opptatt av - men folk fortjener å bli akseptert som hvem de er. Også hvis det er behov for å oppnå bedre kommunikasjon i en bestemt kontekst så kan det alltid gjøres ved omformulering der og da på den ene eller andre måten, alt ettersom hva som passer.

Du lærer språket ved å bruke det.

Etter denne her logikken din, så burde ingen noengang måtte lære seg norsk fordi de vil alltid i starten være dårlig på det, og derfor er det feil å snakke norsk med de.

Men dette blir feil. Kommunikasjon kan utvikles over tid ettersom man lærer hverandre å kjenne og blir bedre på språket, du trenger ikke starte med perfekt kommunikasjon.

Hvis en situasjon krever akutt forståelse kan man alltid omformulere seg som sagt i den situasjonen.

    Not a full answer, but the British site also has free shipping above £25

    Dunno how that works out with Brexit. As for the Spanish site, its top banner text says that it has closed down in fact (permanently) since 31st of march
