The mug is complete! (well, greenware stage anyway). I think I will glaze the outside in metallic black but leave the decorations unglazed...

At the studio I go to we are having a raffle for mugs. This is my entry. Funds go toward the program that got me into pottery, called Re-Fire. The programme is for people who suffer with mental health problems, to be introduced to the joy of clay. It has helped me a lot. I'm glad to be able to repay a little of that.

Figured the best introduction would be one showing off my newest piece out of the kiln, this tree full of the #owls of the UK.
