Si vous habitez Lyon, et particulièrement le quartier de la Guillotière, vous pouvez aider une chouette épicerie (De l’autre côté de la rue) en faisant vos courses chez eux, mais surtout en participant à leur financement. Cela devrait les aider à traverser les eaux troubles des prochains mois.

Je crois qu’il s’agit plus d’un palimpseste dans l’idée, mais le site en lui-même ne décrit pas de contraintes particulières si ce n’est de décrire ce que nous sommes à une personne que l’on n’a pas vu depuis un an.

A posteriori, j’aurais simplement dû noter le numéro de la voiture qui m’a klaxonné pour forcer le passage dans une rue étroite et arriver avant moi au feu rouge, fait deux queues de poissons après avoir accéléré comme une dingue pour me doubler (en sens inverse de circulation sur la voie des bus) et freiner devant moi pour essayer de me donner une leçon.

Et déposer une main courante.

J’espère qu’elle n’enverra jamais quelqu'un à l’hôpital.

Suite à mon dernier épisode et à l’écoute de mes amis qui me disent d’en porter un, je souhaite acheter un casque vélo.

Ce qui m’a fait trainer jusque là, c’est mon ignorance totale en la matière.

Je cherche quelque chose qui soit fabriqué :

  • le moins loin possible de France,
  • avec le moins de plastique possible.

You know how, by default, the <textarea> field stays the same size when people type sentences into the form field? The CSS Working Group is creating a new CSS property so you can style a form field (text-area and input) to grow fit its content —so you don’t have to use JavaScript to do this!

What should this property be called?

field-sizing: content;
or
form-sizing: content;

(Where content = do sizing like other elements. Or use fixed = act like you always have.)

I don’t know CSS specs by heart, but I remember control being used more than field. So that would seem more consistant.

Trying to power through Arnaud Delafosse and Lena Chandelier’s talk in French by using Google Translate and not having much luck.

The things I am picking up are great and the crowd seems really into it.

Google translate heard the following: “Donc ça ça va être l'entreprise individuelle d'un développeur une développeuse unique suicide designer etc qui va connaître le sujet qui va le prendre à cœur qui va l'adapter dans son domaine.” And translated it as: “So it will be the individual enterprise of a developer a single developer suicide designer etc. who will know the subject who will take it to heart who will adapt it in his field.”

Ha! I just noticed MDN is changing a table cells into stacked blocks when on narrow viewports.

I recently tried a display: grid on a table and I am wondering if this is a terrible idea or how OK it is.

Can anyone share articles or experiences on the caveats of changing display for table elements regarding accessibility (or other issues)?

@j9t Well, defining love is something quite complex and definitely subjective, so I guess a love letter is not far from good code in the end. :)
Based on that asumption, communicating code is as complex as communicating love.

I feel it all boils down to: “Communication is tricky”. :)
