It baffles me that you can advertise something as “unlimited” and then impose arbitrary limits after the fact. AWS and Google advertise their CDN rates with tiers for certain bandwidth limits. It seems like CF is advertising as “unlimited” and then once you’re fully invested, they pull the bait and switch and say you’re over the limit for that tier. Based on those HackerNews links, it seems systemic and something the FTC should fine them, like they did with AT&T over the same thing.
People mocked her on social media for turning to homophobic insults because she couldn’t win the actual argument. Other people pointed out that Boebert isn’t even attending her own son’s court hearings – while making time to attend Donald Trump’s trial in New York – so maybe she shouldn’t be mocking other people’s parenting.
She’s just a horrible human being all the way down
Just curious how they get the satellite pictures. Do they have their own? Is there an open-source option or public availability of satellite pictures somewhere?
If you haven’t seen it, check out The Clone Wars. Quality from episode to episode varies, but overall, it’s highly rated and towards the end of the series it’s some of the best Star Wars content there is. You can find lists online of the best essential episodes to watch.
Although Obi Wan was pretty meh, I think that most of the recent stories set during the Rise of the Empire are the best because the heros are the underdogs and the Empire is such a formidable foe. I think a lot was missed by not exploring the The First Order’s rise, and just that we were introduced to them as the new badies who are just like the empire. I guess Disney is relying on Filoni to fix that after the damage has been done.
I just rewatched the scene, and yeah, they do mention she’s a youngling. And then in this scene from one of the later episodes, she’s very young. So yeah between when she joins the Jedi Order and becomes a padawan, there’s lots of time she could have been in the training rooms in the Jedi Temple during the events of AtoC.
I imagine that leading up to the election, they don’t want to show a pattern of unsubstantiated false election claims, since that can be used as evidence if later there is a claim by a host or guest which names a company directly that can be used in a lawsuit.
If such a lawsuit were to happen, they can point to this instance and claim that they tried their hardest to stop the unsubstantiated claims (even cutting off the former president), and it’s not a systemic issue in the network.
I thought $0.50 was low for this math to work out, but turns out 30 million copies of Stardew Valley have been sold, so that’s $15 million, which over 60 years is $250k/year.
Still though I have no clue if $0.50 is normal take home per copy sold for a self published game (it seems low), but I’m very happy he’s doing well for himself and hopes he makes more per copy sold. I’ve bought the game 4 times, so I’m doing my part!
The fact none of the shots of video and images don’t line up the perspective properly with the chimney is infuriating. Is there a KillTheCameraman community to post this to?
