@kai We're thinking of moving to NL and my deal with my employer is that I get to work 2 weeks from our London office and then I get to spend 2 weeks of additional vacation this year in NL

But I can understand the biking woes. I hate riding mid-city because of that very fact. I add about 10 minutes to my trek to work just because I dislike riding to those red lights.

I'll have to check the chapbooks then! I'm always down to support smaller artists :)

Is anyone out there using FOSS for accounting?

I'm struggling with Quickbooks desktop (which you can only get as a subscription now, unless you pay four figures for an enterprise license).

comes highly recommended to me, but I'm loathe to go "" for accounting. Very loathe indeed.

A question for @pixelfed. Why does Pixelfed use a different fediverse than Mastodon? Is it using some particular extensions? Can I use a Mastodon app to connect to Pixelfed and to browse it? Why can’t I use my Mastodon account to use Pixelfed?

@hywan @pixelfed It doesn't. You can actually @ folks from Mastodon servers from PixelFed. It just doesn't discover the non PixelFed servers the same way

Seat 21F, aka "the spot seat", on Delta's B737-900ER. Exit row, window, no seat directly in front. Best possible legroom for a Delta domestic flight (21A is just as good). Downsides: underseat screen, rigid armrests

Halifax is gorgeous! If you ever get the chance, you should go :)

Bonus: Me making an "as you wish" Princess Bride reference while making the ugliest face possible pretending to fall down the hill.

Halifax boardwalk and harbour where three boats are docked. Two are trawler fishing boats, the Lady Melissa, and the Fundy Monarch, and the third seems to be a yacht.
