#nz devs: do we have a free API for current weather conditions? I'm trying to modify xfce's weather applet to use a service that is more accurate for us than met.no appears to be.

I know of Metservice's 3-hourly coded data, but it's useless (you have to load a whole webpage and run javascript to see it).

Trying to get Debian 0.93 working in qemu (hundreds of packages!).

Shame it doesn't seem to want to play nice with qemu's disk emulation. I figured out that the boot floppy it tries to make is full of garbage and that you need to use one with grub on it instead. Still, it kernel panics when it tries to mount /

Looks like I'm going to have to pull an old laptop out of the closet.
