@Teri_Kanefield as someone who’s spent zero time in courtrooms other than almost being a juror I’m curious, is it normal to violate a judges order ten times and not end up in jail by noon? And I realize there’s gray area here. Just curious because it seems extreme 😳

Big game devs and publishers sure know how to take truly amazing games and destroy them. There’s absolutely no reason for this change and yet, it’s being forced. Taking one of the biggest games in years and giving it a massive black eye.

I feel terrible for the developers who actually created this game.

@aaron.rupar this means nothing. Overall this isn’t the case, not to mention the uselessness of polls the last several elections. They’re used to drive ratings and nothing else.

The majority of "Innovation" I've seen thus far in is to solve problems that don't exist in the first place. Unless of course the problem is shareholders and execs not getting enough money, because most of the things created mean they can stop paying humans and transfer more wealth to the top.

Machine learning and #AI reminds me so much of the early heyday of OpenStack and Kubernetes.

Everything is moving so rapidly that most of the blog posts, videos and other docs no longer apply. 🐇

It's quite amazing really that a company wants to charge $129 for the “Ultimate Edition" of a single player game and LOCK CONTENT based on what players buy. Meanwhile costs $40 and blew up to hundreds of thousands of players immediately. You can collect premium currency in game.

Stop giving these terrible companies money, give your support to the ones who create great games - not those who want to fleece you every chance they get.

@josephschmitt I noticed some of your photos on Glass were taken on a Leica Q3, what do you think of it? I’ve been considering picking one up

@josephschmitt thanks so much for the feedback! I’ve always wanted a Q since they were launched. I’m on the waiting list for a 3 now hoping to get it before I travel soon. I usually don’t use phone integration but I might need to try it out!

What are you referring to with iQ?

@josephschmitt ah! It really does look awesome from some of the videos and images I’ve seen! I’m also really intrigued with having 60mp and additional flexibility for cropping with the IQ it has.

I got on the wait list at the local Leica store 👍 I need to give them a call and see how close it is.

@josephschmitt oh wow I had no idea it did that, that is pretty awesome! When I crop in on the A74 it gives me a smaller raw file instead, not really a fan of that implementation - this way is much more flexible.

And good to hear on accessories, I was going to go with the thumb grip as well. The body looks like something you could easily lose hold of

At this point in my tech career I'm fairly convinced some people work their way to high level management just so their terrible ideas are forced, and very few will challenge them else face a career altering moment.

I waited a few weeks to pick up but wow it’s just a masterpiece. So much fun to play, great live service features. Every mission feels epic. I love a great PVE game, I can’t really stand multiplayer FPS anymore.

Merrick Garland has bungled the January 6 insurrection case against Trump so badly that Trump’s likely not to face trial before the election, which, if he wins, will render everything moot and put the very idea of American democracy at the gravest risk it's ever faced.

But he's got the green bubbles thing covered.

@Jeffgodofbiscuits @gruber let's assume it’s true here. Even if it was, it’s irrelevant. Even if tomorrow he's found guilty on every single charge it does not prevent him from winning the election in November.

We cannot expect the courts to solve what is a political problem. If enough people vote to end democracy, doesn't matter if he's in jail.
