@CoachMark Oh, very nice about the BBQ and the get together, though sorry to hear about her passing last year. Very sad indeed but as you say, we have to celebrate the positives that they would want us to celebrate and not dwell on the bad times and such. I hope y'all enjoy it as best as you can!

Thank you. Hopefully it's on the way out as we have vacation coming up at the end of this coming week.

@CoachMark Damn! That is awful to hear! Cancer truly sucks so bad. I lost my dad to his 3rd battle with cancer in July 2021 and then my wife's mom to stomach cancer in February 2023.

Such a horrible disease that is sadly so common today.

I tried the Oobli iced teas. I did not like that at all. Probably the first iced tea in my life I hated. Didn't even finish them.

There was a time when I ran my business with this and had my number printed on my business cards. A pioneer in its' day for a lot of things, especially interoperability amongst platforms. I had an earlier, shorter number, but couldn't login after a reinstall once, so setup another account. That's the one that stuck all those years.

Still not feeling good today. Slightly better than yesterday, but not by much.

I have a headache that just won't go away. It's not a migraine, just enough to be annoying.

I'm hoping as the day goes by I get to feeling better as I don't like not feeling good.

Let's all talk about what our last day of the week has in store for us as well as the weekend ahead.

For me, it's work stuff as usual, with no meetings, so should be an easy day.

Then it's a long weekend due to Memorial Day on Monday, then work 2 days and off for a week!

Good morning my fellow fedizens. Hope the day is going well for y’all.

Let’s take this brief moment this morning to have our chat and reflect on what we have going on today.

I’m still working with this client, going on about 20+ hours now, with this damn network/software issue. It has been one heck of a stressful week. Later today I have my first physical therapy appt so we’ll see how that goes. Then it’ll just be relaxing.

Like “I will never buy a product if it’s Apple” is the same bias as “I will only buy a product if it’s Apple”

Why do people act Apple goes around saying “hey look at this feature we invented” to everything

Like do you expect a company to list off a timeline of every product that has announced this feature before they announce their device has it?

It’s a “new feature” because the FEATURE is NEW to the product

Like I’ve never gotten this criticism, Apple’s never gone around claiming they’ve invented features that have already existed, they do talk about new METHODS, but that’s, well, not the (1/2)

Who here is playing this new game, Gray Zone Warfare?

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this game and what you like and don't like.

I've always wanted to give Escape From Tarkov a try, but everyone says it's a pretty complex game. Most people are saying this is very similar, but more for the casual player and a lot easier to learn.

Sound off in the comments below with your thoughts as I'm debating if I want to give it a try or not.
