We had a text encoding problem at work today and people recommended a colleague for fixing this issue, because “he worked in Japan.”
Apparently Japan has a lot of coding and encoding problems due to a missing standard for Japanese characters and he became an expert on these issues.

He told me some stories and all the info clicked in my brain: “Wait… Is this the reason why they still excessively use fax machines?!”
“Yes!”

Meine Halteverbotszone ist zugeparkt.

Kiel:
Ist in 5min da.
Schleppt in 30min alle Fahrzeuge ab.

Mannheim:
Versucht erst mal für 30min die Inhaber der Fahrzeuge zu erreichen, damit diese noch entspannt umparken können. Abgeschleppt werden ist ja immer teuer.

Update:
Die Polizei fährt jetzt raus um bei den Inhabern an der Haustür zu klingeln. Damit die noch wegfahren können.

The strangest thing happened.
I just opened a bag I have stored in my attic, and while it looks like my stuff from the outside, it’s NOT MINE!
Some stickers inside have a Design, dating the bag to 2019.
There are valuable and personal items in there. So far the Person might be called Maya and all stickers and notes are English, French and Swedish. The person must have been in Stuttgart before Congress.

Die Bahnhofsunterführung grüßt mir einer großen Weintraube neben dem Willkommensschriftzug.
Der Sticker „Weinstrassen Antifa“, bei welchem der Stängel der Weintraube zu einer Antifa-Fahne wurde, ist geklebt worden.
Das grüne Ampel-Figürchen zeigt eine Person im Rock und mit Krone die eine Weintraube hält während sie geht.

I am currently doing a coding bootcamp (JavaScript/ Python (django)) and in my course is Alex. Alex is helping everyone who is struggling.

Als Anfängerin habe ich die laut in ihr Telefon schreiende Person nur darauf hingewiesen dass sie in einem Ruheabteil sitzt. Hat sie natürlich nicht dazu bewegt woanders zu telefonieren, aber immerhin nicht mehr zu schreien.

Der Experte für solche Härtefälle neben mir hat dann aber das Ruder übernommen und angefangen sich in ihr berufliches Gespräch einzumischen und „Tipps“ zu geben.
Zack Gespräch beendet und Ruhe in den Ruhewagen zurück gekehrt.

Hallo Internet.
Als Person die absolut gar keine Ahnung von Autos hat:
Wenn man bei einem 12 Jahre alten Auto jedes Jahr aufs Neue die Drosselklappe austauschen muss, muss die doch bestimmt von was Anderem im Auto kaputt gemacht werden? Aber was? Fehler Bericht melden jedes Mal nur die Drosselklappe.

    @2ndStar von allen Informatik-Lehrer*innen mit denen ich studiert habe und die kurz vor Pandemie anfingen ist niemand mehr im Schulbetrieb. Zu undankbar, keine Unterstützung in der Pandemie und man soll die ganze Schul-IT freiwillig nebenher schmeißen. Mit dem Abschluss kann man außerdem recht einfach in die Wirtschaft wechseln.

    Gibt es ein Ausbildungs/Training/Bootcamp/... Das 1-3 Monate geht, mir irgendwas in der IT beibringt, nur für Frauen ist und von meinem Bildungsgutschein der Agentur für Arbeit abgedeckt wird?

    Ich würde gerne meine Arbeitsfähigkeit testen, daher ist der Inhalt vergleichsweise egal. Und alle Dinge die ich finde schreien förmlich dass ich mit Männern unter Männern sitzen werde.

    @esther one of the things I love the most about the storylines of each character is how it doesn't feel forced when two or more characters meet. Each meeting feels so natural.
