@fistfulofdave If anything were easy it would be done already. When I was younger, I was sure I'd never use public transportation and I couldn't fathom why anyone would.

My mind slowly changed when I moved to California and that was my only option. Then when I moved to France, I saw that public transportation was so much better than having a car. It's not just the cars, it's how we design cities too.

I agree that it's a hell of a task, but we should get started soon.

Configuring a max length for comments in that's different than the normal max length would be fantastic. It's ugly to write a comment and on the same line need to use # noqa: E501...

Crypto and blockchain have been trying to find a useful way to change the world since 2009.

LLMs and AI (, , ) are changing the world right now.

I was on the hype train for crypto back in 2016 and realized too late that it wasn't useful. I have seen firsthand how tools like ChatGPT are going to change the world for the better.

@Joe_0237 I agree that it shouldn't be held by a single company and it isn't. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Stability AI, Replit, and others are all developing tools using LLMs. The tools built by OpenAI have been the most successful, so far, but are far from being the last.

I’m working on a talk for the Michigan Python meetup group about building a ChatGPT plugin using Python 🐍 the plugin will use @FastAPI and to allow ChatGPT to build a jupyter notebook!

@eliasp absolutely. On my Dad’s side of the family my aunt keeps a spreadsheet of all the addresses, but we don’t have anything on my Mom’s side. I’ve been thinking about this idea for awhile to solve both the family sharing use case but also the shopping/government use case.

It would be interesting too to have “verified” addresses using Lob to send simple postcards and you enter a code on ContactHub.

I also used to generate recipes for my wife and me this week. It developed two recipes to last five days for two people, which is usually impossible for me to scale recipes for. My wife and I thought they were some of our best recipes! 🔥
