Stumbled onto this old concert footage of the #BeastieBoys performing at #Bonnaroo in 2009. So good.

Pretty crazy watching this knowing now that it was their last live performance as a trio—as less than a month later MCA would be diagnosed with cancer.

I was fortunate to see them at a few key concerts over the years, most notably the 1996 Tibetan Freedom Concert in Golden Gate Park. And as you can see in the Bonnaroo footage... they really did put on a fun show. RIP

#TomSachs made a series of print-on-demand zines that were distributed via ATMs. For a $5 charge on your card, you'd receive a 12-foot-long receipt that could be folded and assembled into a cute little zine. Here's the video of the installation in action during Tom's "Space Program: Europa" show at the Yerba Buena Center For The Arts in 2017. #zines

Everyone is all excited to play games or do other crazy stuff in Vision Pro this year but I am just absolutely thrilled to get it on so I can stare at this delicious deep-set, shadow-casting, beveled search field.

Lots-of-alone-time project update: I picked a bunch of willow yesterday because we have tons of it, and I started trying to make a basket after watching a bunch of youtube videos. Turns out...it's a bit harder than I guessed at first! But maybe I'll manage to make a couple of crappy baskets. We'll see...

I also learned that willow branches wobbling around in the air while I work (badly) with them is ABSOLUTELY irresistible to cats, who kept attacking the willows. Not helpful, guys!

A rather messy start to the bottom of a round basket. Looks sort of like a partially finished spiderweb built by a drunk spider. It's sitting on a hardwood floor with a bunch of willow branches scattered nearby.

There is a low-speed police chase through the Mission right now. About 20 SFPD are chains a green SUV around the blocks. This is the third time they’ve circled in front of our house in the past ten minutes. The green car has a flat tire, so it isn’t moving very fast. #SanFrancisco
