I think Mastodon people should use the "like" button more.

People are told not to like because liking doesn't broadcast posts like boosting does, and the site needs boosts. And replies are preferred because they're deeper engagement or something.

But, on some level, we want people to keep using Mastodon. If someone posts something and followers like it, they know stuff is getting seen here and they'll want to keep using the site. I just don't see what's gained by holding back on the likes

if it brings joy, then favorite;
if I think it will bring others joy, boost;
if I want to recall later, bookmark;
and if I have something to add (that hasn’t been said already), comment!

This ceratopsian is one of my favorites. I wont give too many hints because it is relatively well known.

I was at earlier today and I got hit with some inspiration for my Lego for the book. 5 hours later, and I had a semi-decent looking model.
Well now I have the digitized it, and refined it a little.
Well here are the references for both, and the render for both the fossil and the model.
Colour version in my response.
I am open to any and all feedback.

So, I signed up for the Apple+ free trial to watch Jays/Yankees and see if Apple gets better video quality. And… quality is excellent, except a bit hyper detailed like I leaned too hard on Clarity in a Lightroom edit. Hmm.

Anyhow, not gonna start paying for the sake of one ballgame a week. What else is on Apple+ that makes it worth $9/month?

@timbray there’s a lot to like on Apple TV+ including: Tehran, Tetris Movie, Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, Mythic Quest.

My recommendation… take the rest of your free trial and binge anything that looks interesting. So far most of the shows I’ve tried have been quite good.
