Ich habe ein 14″-Laptop in einer 15″-Hülle. So weit, so einfach.

Ich suche:

  1. Eine kompakte, aber brauchbare Bluetooth-Maus
  2. (optional) eine kompakte, aber brauchbare Bluetooth-Tastatur
  3. Eine Verpackung, in die das Ganze gut gepäcktaschen- und tourtauglich rein passt

Ich möchte Radtouren fahren, aber abends ein einigermaßen brauchbares Büro haben.

Hat da jemand schon eine tolle Kombi gefunden vielleicht?

@Natureshadow die Roccat Kone Pro Air ist ergonomisch und ultraleicht, falls das fürs Radeln interessant ist. Aber teuer.

Die Logitech MX Keys find ich super. Für eine ⌨️ inkl Ziffernblock sehr kompakt, aber recht schwer. Gibt es auch als Mini ohne Ziffernblock (hab ich aber noch nicht ausprobiert). Ist nicht ultrakompakt, aber ok kompakt und da die große Variante so gut ist, würd ich sie mal (im Geschäft) testen.

🖱️ und ⌨️ per Hardwareschalter zw. mehreren Geräten umschaltbar.

@Em0nM4stodon it's a bit indirect, but I got some older people from my family to use password managers and safe passwords. Hope this prevents them from getting their data leaked.

@Em0nM4stodon it was a tough gig! One of them is really happy now, though, for having to remember only one password. Which was, I think, for all of them the main reason to give it a shot. Because they at least tried different passwords even before (but ofc failed, as one does).

They did not and Musk got called out on it.

Musk has now copped to it and admitted he has paid for James, King and a handful of others to keep their blue checks

@stux I think I've heard something along the lines of animating them consistent with users' actual movements was the hard part when the only data they want to base that on is optical from POV 'head'. Howeverrr, the whole thing can burn in dumpster for all I'm concerned. :flan_set_fire:

Really good idea, but I'll have to be a hair in the soup. On an environmental panel discussion a polymer researcher (someone deeply opposed to single use plastic btw) made the point to be extremely careful when using plastics outside its intended use case around food. Temperature, acidity and lipids (fat) can break down plastics not designed to withstand them. So microwaving your fried lemons in a random plastic container is something I would be hesitant to do. Not saying you'll die, but please be careful!
