    About ready to dismiss my new PCP.

    I get that the healthcare system is fractured, and workers are tired, burned out, exhausted, being one myself.

    Yet, how do they think disregarded patients feel?

    All I want is the same shit Ive been on since George W. Bush was president, and yet theres barriers to care, stigmatization, & poor communication or NON communication between patient & doctor.

    Why do I have to reinvent the fucking wheel every single time out here as a patient?

    Im not on here trying to shit on myself and healthcare.

    It would just be nice if it was more accessible to patients, more patient-centered, and I was able to have a bit more confidence in the direction of the system than I am in 2024 as 4 of my colleagues medically retire earlier than they planned.

    ▫️Doctors are less accessible than ever because of $, private equity, disability, overextension
    ▫️Patients are routinely gaslit, invalidated, or disbelieved
    ▫️Public Health is captured by a corporation as lowly as Delta Airlines
    ▫️ State surgeon generals lie and imperil, murder kids over antivaxx garbage.
    ▫️Airborne disease is lied about

    @farah @Alice The cyanide smell capacity led to the initial dismissal of a pathology student, female, by her male mentor, who could not smell it, when she observed it / pointed it out.

    When a second victim was found to smell like almonds on their breath/mouth by a different pathologist who could smell it, he believed her and they opened up a criminal case...someone had killed 3 or 4 people by cyanide poisoning and almost got away with it cuz of this variation in cyanide bitter almond detection.
