The latest report of the UN Panel of experts on North Korea for the UN Security council has some interesting numbers on how much North Korea (DPRK) relies on the theft of cryptocurrencies for their program of weapons of mass destruction: 40 to 50% of the budget comes from stolen cryptocurrencies. 1/4

So viele Menschen verurteilt zu Geld- und Haftstrafen über Jahrzehnte, so viele Leben zerstört oder beschädigt. Und endlich das Einsehen der Politik, dass dieses juristische Bestrafungstheater gesellschaftlicher Unsinn war. Wenn ich es nicht besser wüsste, könnte ich glatt ein bisschen Hoffnung darauf bekommen, dass sich doch manchmal Dinge zum Guten wenden.

Im Tagesschau-Podcast „11KM“ geht es darum, wie BR Recherche über hundert Neonazis, Identitäre oder sogenannte „Neuen Rechten“ als Mitarbeitende im Bundestag identifiziert hat.

Für mich immer noch unglaublich: dass auf der Suche nach allen AfD-Mitarbeitenden durchs Reichstagsgebäude gelaufen wurde und mühsam Namen von den Türschildern abgelesen werden mussten. Gibt es bei der Bundestagsverwaltung wirklich keine Liste, wer dort aus welchem Budget bezahlt wird?

Open Data macht Freude. Zum Beispiel die (mobile) Denkmalkarte in Berlin, die mich auf ein denkmalgeschützes Mietshaus in der Nachbarschaft hingewiesen hat. https://www.berlin.de/landesdenkmalamt/denkmale/liste-karte-datenbank/denkmalkarte/

Idee: Mit den Geodaten aus solchen Listen, aus Wikidata und Wikipedia müsste sich eigentlich ein interessanter Text generieren lassen, der einem die eigene Umgebung beschreibt.

Diese staatlich unterstützten Cybereinheiten und APTs wissen ja sicher, dass sie im Westen Spitznamen wie „Fancy Bear“ und „Cozy Bear“ haben. Was mich interessieren würde: Ob die dann auch beim Offsite-Event der Abteilung entsprechende T-Shirts haben.

Wegen des gleichzeitigen Besuchs der Staatspräsidenten der Ukraine und Israels ist in Berlin-Mitte wirklich alles abgesperrt und die Polizei führt alle ihre Hubschrauber vor. Eigentlich die perfekte Gelegenheit für Berlin jetzt zeitgleich eine Wahl abzuhalten.

Ich fahre nämlich zufällig nach München, wo an diesem Wochenende eine kleine Sicherheitskonferenz stattfindet (ohne mich allerdings, ist nur eine zeitliche Koinzidenz). Ob es dort auch Maßnahmen gibt?
