Going back to old ones many times they feel so much easier. It's almost sad going back and finding out they aren't as much of a challenge as I remember.
Who else has experiences like this/what were they?

@nazokiyoubinbou @eyesofod The same here: nowdays I just don't have the patience, or time, to drill in muscle memory needed to finish some games. There are soo many good games and it's stupid being insta-killed over and over again in Castlevania, or something like that...

Continuing universe I finished Fusion last night on GameBoy Advance!

It's not an easy nor simple game, there are many bosses and beating the final SA-X was one of the hardest things I did.

The main adversary is called X, and I couldn't keep out Twitter reference out of my head - weirdly it fitted just fine.

Anyways, onto new adventures!

@berkough Yes, it's tough. But not almost impossible (like some Castlevanias) so very rewarding. Internet is also full of hints how to best beat bosses 😊 And actually, lot's of people managed to beat it in less than 2h!

So, I finished The Legend of - A Link to the Past on !

You know all those people that are obsessed with Zelda games? Well, they're right, it is awesome. But don't even try to tackle this game without help: it is huge and so rich in lore.

Now I feel the itch to continue the universe. I'll recover a bit and most probably jump in to the Minish Cap on .

    It explains the subtle difference between layered and stratified design in a very clear and practical way. This is one of the best software design resources I've seen.

    Still marvelous to think that 110,000 people voted in the Iowa Republican caucus, yet it will be interpreted as sending a significant message about America. That's less than a third of the population of Bydgoszcz. (if your response is "where?" then you are making my point)

    #Castlevania games are ridiculously hard. Even mid-level bosses (like Frankenstein's Monster and his little companion, Igor, here) are super hard to beat and it takes hours and hours to build muscle memory required for it. I don't think it's worth it, so I am giving up. I like gaming, not torture.

    @plainoldcheese Yeah, I am still not giving up on Gnome, but this toot was more a result of frustration than anything else. Keeping eye on theming scene!
