Does your city have a history of redlining? Probably. I am originally from St. Louis, one area in particular is known as the Delmar divide and is an artifact from when redlining was commonplace. I found this piece on St Louis interesting as well.

Panera says its employees don't care about making more money for investors/shareholders. Wait...you mean the same investors and shareholders that rally stock prices when those same companies lay off folks by the hundreds or thousands? He thinks employees should be happy to work for meager wages at understaffed stores if it means those shareholders make more money? Employees should be thinking about the portfolio of those much wealthier than them instead of being able to afford groceries, medicines and rent? Absolute nonsense to think workers will hand the whip to the wealthiest so that they can crack it right back down on them. For the shareholders.

You know what's fun? Saying #FuckTexas. You know what's even more fun? Voting. Seriously, I cannot stress enough that while it is a massive blow to the enthusiasm to have to vote between two very old white guys, the 2024 election has got to go to Biden. GOP has proven time and time again that they value removing rights, discrimination and even flirting with facism above all else. No one wins if Trump does. Even the white nationalists that worship him.

Make sure you repeatedly check your voter registration as you head into the new year and as you get closer to voting registration deadlines.
