Just sent my family to the airport.
I'm still here for the rest of the sprints until Thursday 1 PM when I had to leave for the airport myself.

Apologies that I haven't been available to chat/read emails/notifications during the conference now but now I'm much more available so would love to catch up with people now during the sprints.

Discussing command line differences

In Windows:
md = make directory
cd = change directory

In Unix:
mkdir = make directory
cd = change directory

We started wondering about why the inconsitency? At some point someone uttered: "Windows got it right"

The records you all broke at PyCon US:

• of proposals in CFP

• of registrations since pandemic

• spike in new registrations (10%) so close to the conference that we had to lock it down
  (I thought we'd be done breaking records at this point)

• of toots using official hashtag during the conference @fedidevs (each day we broke our own record from the day before)

• $ PyLadies auction proceeds
