🐍♦️ Use Git to pass pytest a list of all modified test files:

pytest $(git diff --name-only '/test_.py')

Adjust the pathspec (Git’s “glob” syntax) if you have a different test file naming convention.

If I had to start a new series of tech books, I would call it "Shattering your dreams about X".

This would be books about the hard realities of doing X for when you realize all the hard topics of operating X on a daily basis are not covered by the "it's going to be sooooo easy" official docs.

Like:

• "Shattering your dreams about k8s",
• "Shattering your dreams about GitOps",
• "Shattering your dreams about the self-organized team",
• etc.

Pallets sprints spotlight #pyconus

Daniel Wu took on a task to search for paths in Jinja using importlib_resources. This issue was raised by DavidLord.

After replacing appropriately, tests were failing. After toxing a bit, they were ok

This was the moment tests turned green, all python versions except windows.

Daniel has been on this one for hours and patiently looked to tackle each hurdle.

I was monitoring the last part of the PR. Unfortunately the sprints are until 20:00 and we left.

• spike in new registrations (10%) so close to the conference that we had to lock it down
  (I thought we'd be done breaking records at this point)

• of toots using official hashtag during the conference @fedidevs (each day we broke our own record from the day before)
