@mitch yes, good point. I've been following along fairly closely. Was telling after seeing one of the "legal scholars" Trump keeps mentioning, Jonathan Hurley, who is a Fox News contributor actually say yesterday or this morning that even he expected either a hung jury or partial conviction. That says a lot right there.
i feel like i mention it every 3 months, but does anyone else remember when Bellingcat managed to reveal the locations of secret military bases through a hack of the run-tracking app, "Polar"?
I don't know how more simply I can express this: Pre-Islamic Revolution Irán was really not great either. It was a monarchy with a secret police apparatus that murdered millions.
The takeaway that Americans should have from Iranian history is deep sympathy for a group of citizens who are otherwise trapped inside 200 years of brutal oppression.
if i had fewer scruples, i'd make a fortune running a fake SpaceX livestream with a QR code on it that leads to a crypto scam. but unfortunately i do. it would just be SO easy.
@mitch I think the same thing about my Playdate. Ironically, if I bought a Pocket it would only be for Nanoloop. So I'd probably never install any roms.
Oh, ok. We're not technically in a recession, it's just rich people's greed expanding unchecked at a rate that will eventually either consume us, or consume them. Ok yeah that helps me feel better about it.
an alarming number of InfoSec professionals seem incapable of recognizing that, yes, someone can just walk right up to you and hit you until you unlock your computer.
You know how powerful politicians throw their wife under the bus when they get caught doing something borderline treasonous?
Once, just once, I wanna see the wife bite back by publicly divorcing the dude and going on record with ALL the dirt. I hate thinking that they're in on it, or cool with taking the blame.
@SallyStrange yep! it's so strange but i learned how to do it from an episode of Psych, lol.
one of the main characters was raised by his father to list every thing he sees in a room, then repeat the things after they leave. i started doing that because i am an insufferable nerd, and it started to improve my photographic memory.
after 10 years of this i'm at a point where my wife makes fun of me for being able to recall menus and books after glancing at them, lol.
