I now completely live by my core values & that's a harsh reality & also a paranoid threat, to many folks who aren't living fully true to themselves & bowing down to status quo bullshittery society judgements.
No one who is a friend of mine will ever suffer starvation or homelessness. We feed & house our friends when they're struggling. We've been doing that since I was a young teen.
My home was known as a safe house for several of my teen friends & again known as a safe house in adult years when I was heavily immersed on high conflict (with industry/govt/police) on various frontlines.
We have given complete strangers use of our backyard to camp too. For #heartless folks who tell others - help them yourself then! They're #gaslighting because they've NEVER stepped out to help folks who aren't privileged.
I never had any issues with helping #houseless . I screened ppl before giving them safe space to tent for temporary times.
It doesn't take much to show some active - #compassion to unhoused & #marginalized folks. Not caring is evil. I judge people who choose evil - harshly.
Please read past news article, that shares how my #parents didn't try to stop me from talking to #houseless folks & how they supported me buying food for them with my own earned monies. My parents supported every single effort I tried to help #marginalized ppl. They've always supported every one of my efforts to help ppl, animals & environment ❤❤🙌❤❤ https://www.vicnews.com/entertainment/paying-it-forward-10182
Article is mainly about my fundraising concert. @lacouvee 's son was one of my event MCs. Heartfull community effort🙌
@Nemesis I'm hesitant about sharing full actions planned against BH here but have shared one action I'm ok with being public knowledge - grassroots community posters plastering. I plan other non public knowledge actions offline only.
Saw a cool cougars art mural on stop on way home. Marie picked a bag of apples from our yard & we gave her a large bag of Asian pears too.
Wonderful Saturday!
More photos from our hike through Calvert Park today. I'm really sad that the huge beaver lodge that was there for years - was removed by humans! The beaver family that lived there for years is now displaced & I don't know if they survived. Displaced when road work started & their lodge was removed during that time 😪
Uploading my video from Calvert Park hike now. Shot from a fantastic viewpoint - atop moss & lichen covered huge boulders. We climbed atop them boulders & rested for snacks/water break. Took photos & one vid.
Today. I hiked Calvert park in early afternoon with my friend, Marie. Got lost, ended up in someone's backyard & walked down their driveway back to road. The old trail back to road has been blocked off.
@msquebanh the benefit of going through someone's yard us that you can fill your water bottle or just drink from their garden hose.
I did ask though, when I was in the same situation.
@dabertime I had no need for extra water but that is a bonus for folks who ran out of water. I got lost in there because the trail I took before wasn't accessible anymore & there's at least 6 small trails leading off main one.
My friend, Marie, brought us some frozen wild #salmon & gifted me a gorgeous #beaded#jewelry set! She made this set especially for me & it has all my fave colours except for purple. I love it so much! Really lovely & unexpected extra pretty #surprise ❤❤❤
She really liked my sunhat so I just gave it to her 😊
Taking Pacific Circle route back home & making brief stop to hike small section of Juan de Fuca trail. I have to be back home in time to meet up with a friend for tea & chats. She's bringing me some wild salmon too 😊
Will get caught up here, after my friendship bonding time.
Goldstream #estuary & #wetlands 😍
We sat by the viewing platform benches & ate sandwiches & drank water. We enjoyed seeing 7 bald eagles, circling above & a couple did wonderful aerial acrobatics ❤🦅
