I've had my pair of Xreal Air2 glasses for about a week and I'm really enjoying them. They're a great companion to the SteamDeck and a great way to play upscaled 3DS and Virtual Boy games with the SBS3D mode!

I used to like trying to do things like this. I remember using shapshifter on WinUAE and then trying to run various emulators in the emulated MacOS environment...😆

I always wanted to try and recursively emulate between 2 emulated systems and see how far the rabbit hole would go...

Our stove top has touch controls. It's ridiculous. Ah yes, I will touch the glass top of my stove with my fingers while using it, thereby risking injury or at the very least having to put my finger on a greasy stove top. Because when people cook on a stove top, grease splatters out of hot pans all over. Who the fuck thought this was a good idea? For the love of god just give me some fucking knobs

You know what knobs are also good for? Going instantly from any setting to any other setting. With this touch interface bullshit if I wanna turn off one hob from the highest setting without turning off all hobs I have to plonk my finger down and wait for it to slowly cycle down from 9 to 0, going through all full and half digits on the way

If this is what a "luxury cooking experience" feels like I don't fucking want it

Hi and thanks for the comments!
Yes the visualisation was created using the "movie writer" feature of Godot4.

I tell it the BPM and time Sig. and have some simple effects that randomly toggle on and off and adjust values.

I intend to add override scripting to force effects on certain bars. And continue adding more effects that can be applied. :ablobsmile:

Imagine if schools were fitted with proper ventilation and filtration which, by itself, can reduce infection by 85%. Since covid and other airborne diseases primarily spread from schools (and care settings, but not masking there is just clear insanity) we might even consistently get the R value under 1

It's such low hanging fruit. It's not even that expensive and governments already have the kind of control over schools to do this. Instead we're just doing nothing, for reasons

Hell it's so easy to sell too. Don't wanna remind people about covid? Don't mention it! Just say that CO2 buildup makes it harder for people to think analytically and process information, and that if students have better air and get things like colds and flu less often their academic performance will be better!

But no, better to just do nothing when there's low hanging fruit right fucking there
