All the models look so cool. The game is a lot of fun. I've always held back though. I think 4e is gonna be when I finally jump in. But, the most important question:

We've got this cheap egg cooker that plays the loudest, most terrifying alarm you've ever heard when it's done cooking. My wife requested that I make it "less aggressive" so I hacked it into the most gentle egg cooker of ALL TIME

(warning: probably loud)

Before shot: egg cooker finishing an egg before modification. Jarring alarm goes off, I say "fuck!" After shot: egg cooker finishes. A few moments later, a small mechanical music box next to the cooker starts playing Pachelbel's Canon

My crappy wifi swallowed my late night rage post about how hard BloodBowl is, even with a Tier 1 team (Norse). I'm really struggling to improve past just getting the mechanics right, to getting the strategy right. I've got 3 more incredibly hard games left in the league (Norse, Khorne, Wood Elves). I can't get the team to attack decisively, and can only defend through attrition (so I end up losing players). I'm worried the game's not fun any more because I'm not improving.

@StuWatts @erikcats has some good advice. But my (self serving) advice is to give Blitzbowl a try instead. Nuffle gets less involved in that game.

@stooovie @digga_mies @3dprinting I would start with checking you're not trying to print as fast as PLA, if that's not the issue definitely dry it as recommended, if it's still a problem and you are running pressure advance you may need to re-tune that for PETG. I would try all those before buying anything. I've never needed special nozzles for PETG.

@erikcats yes! It works well, sorry I never got around to the tutorial. The end/beginning of the year was a bit crazy and then I had projects I wanted to finish before Adepticon. Maybe I can take some photos and put it together this week. It's pretty simple.

@ethanOS the original announcement did not say what Stormcast units are going to legends. It was really poorly communicated. Other than the heroes you can probably expect most of the normal units to get new sculpts and warscrolls and continue on.

The security camera company #Arlo has emailed everyone to say that they are introducing a "Fair usage policy" to their plans because they noticed that a number of accounts are using a lot of #cloudStorage.

So, what is considered "fair usage" of a cloud subscription you pay £11/month for?

It's going from an unlimited number of 30 second clips over 30 days, to a limit of 60 clips at 30 second each over 30 days.

Or, you pay an additional £13 per camera per month, on top of the £11.

Finally had everything I needed to dip a toe in airbrushing, and what better way to learn than priming? I used primer, thinned with their thinner for black. Learned a bunch about technique and maintenance. Used fanatic Matt White for the zenithal. It is so thick. Used thinner with it 50/50. Also learned you can’t mix the fanatic paint in the airbrush cup. Looking forward to trying speedpaint with the airbrush

@PhillGreen silicone mixing cups are good for pre mixing paints for your airbrush. Dried paint peels right off. Something like this makes pouring into the brush easy. https://a.co/d/d4by9aK
