My parents' opinion on non-straight is slowly changing.

Dad is now very certain to use the right pronouns. Mum finds that annoying, but acceptable.

However, they still let their kids know in no uncertain terms that they'd still rather we die then become one of those "others".

... Guess I still can't tell them that Gay Camp when I was a kid really didn't make me any less bi. (Point of fact, that was when I slept with my first boyfriend...)

One surprise - my ex-wife hasn't told them I am.

I have upset many of my readers, I'm afraid. None of my characters is particularly safe from death, and I have killed off some of my favourites - so long as it works for the plot.

I have regretted some of the angry death threats I have got. Didn't regret killing the character, though.

I managed four novels, and twenty six short stories, in 2023. I very much doubt I will achieve that, this year. But it won't stop me trying.
