Habe kürzlich das "Sound & Fury" album von Dust Bolt gehört. Ich wusste ja vorab, dass es etwas anderes sein würde als vorherige Alben.

Finde es aber gut!

Kann verstehen, wieso man als langjähriger Fan vielleicht enttäuscht ist. Einfach, weil es nicht das ist, was man wahrscheinlich erwartet hat.

Dennoch ein gutes Album, finde ich. Mir als Gelegenheitshörer taugt es jedenfalls. Und respektabel, dass die Jungs tun, was ihnen gefällt. Egal, ob sie Vllt treue Fans dabei verlieren.

Irgendwie schafft das Album aber auch einen guten Spagat aus (hartem) Rock und Metal. Stellenweise höre ich ein bisschen Trivium raus.

Music lovers with extensive private offline music libraries, I need your insights!

How do you manage your music genres?

Do you take care of them? Or just rely on some dataase autotagging? If you take care, do you go for umbrella genres (metal, rock, etc) or do you go more detailed subgenres (melodic death metal, progressive rock, etc)? or a mixture of both?

@lautmaler usually I don't do the tagging myself. I mostly rely on databases, although they often are wrong or inaccurate.

But the truth is: I don't really care ;) When I listen to music, I either pick a particular band, album or playlist.

Ich stelle mir gerade vor, wie ein Gremium von wichtigen Leuten bei Google an einem großen Tisch entscheidet, dass es unbedingt Pupsgeräusche in der Telefonapp geben muss.

Aber keine blöde Entscheidung. Aufmerksamkeit haben sie bekommen.

@anrichter umso besser! In meinen Scrum Teams hat es meistens auch funktioniert und Scrum und seine Meetings hatten eher dekorativen Charakter. Am Ende haben wir eh alles gemacht, wie wir wollten 😅

Habe schon 2x in meinem Leben VDD am USB A Stecker mit Tape abgeklebt.

Bin ich der einzige oder entscheiden sich andere auch für solches Gefummel mit der Pinzette?

@meldrian ich will USB Host und Device mit getrennten Spannungsquellen versorgen, um ein HW Problem zu debuggen :) Da ist es hinderlich, wenn der USB auch Spannungsversorgung spielt.

Okay Leute, spart euch sich die Hashtagwolken. Hashtags sind super, aber nur, wenn es auch eine Chance gibt, dass sie wiederverwendet werden.

Ein Hashtag für ins Leben zu rufen ist völlig behämmert, weil das nie wieder jemand klicken wird.

Das ist viel, viel, viel zu spezifisch. Macht doch lieber und dazu, dann passt die Sache 😮‍💨
