Update 🧵 about my getting in shape story

If you follow my account, you may have noticed that I am on a getting in shape journey this year.

I was on my way to hit 100kg rather sooner than later. I didn't step on the scales for a long time, knowing that I wont like the results. And when I did, I didn't like the results. I was actually in shock.

Now, I don't care too much about the numbers, but I do care about how I feel and honestly also about how I look. I hated both.

PSA: If you're getting Error 500 messages from mastodon when trying to upload images from mobile: You're probably trying to upload a HEIC/HEIF image and the fastimage gem errors out.

Easy fix: search for fastimage in Gemfile.lock, change version to 2.3.0 and run bundle install. Then restart mastodon services.

There is a PR that has already been merged but it did not make it into a mastodon release it seems: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/28488

ist mittlerweile dermaßen vertwittert, dass es mich nur noch nervt.
Jetzt kann man natürlich sagen: "Mastodon ist nicht das !"
Aber genau das löst an dieser Stelle nicht das Problem. Die Twitterizität wird halt immer mit föderiert.
Elon hat kaputt gemacht? Drauf geschissen. Für mich hat er mittelbar das Fediverse versaut. Fühl mich hier zunehmend unwohl, trotz massiver Timelinehygienisierung in den letzten Wochen.
