Sounds like, as per usual, late stage capitalism is the culprit of human misery and neglect. In addition to the harsh conditions experienced by the underpaid nursing home staff that DO care about their job, they also retain nurses who are cold and incompetent at what they do, because they can't find better people to hire to replace them. Was reading another thing that says nursing home assistants have lower wages than fast food employees... And FF employees already can't afford to live off a single job, so you know nursing home assistants have it even worse 🙃 I hate this piece of shit country so much.

I feel you, we called our Escondido house the Hell House because once we decided to move we found so much wrong with it that our apparently lazy-ass VA-appointed house inspector never caught that we had to legally fix before we could sell it, AND we got scammed by the $40k "HERO" home improvement project when we got hvac installed (a growing necessity in Southern California) through a house lien they promised could be rolled into the house sale price but nope... Every single potential buyer insisted - we- had to fully pay it off first 🙃 God, so many unpleasant memories... Hope you get through this smoothly!

I hope it works out soon for you. Ironically our house DID have a pool, but it was unheated and constantly surrounded by shade from the shaggy palm trees the previous owners thoughtlessly planted even though there wasn't room for them, so the pool was constantly cold, even in So Cal 🙃

I'd like to see "relate to people by adding similar stories of my own experiences to theirs as a sign of empathy" or something to that effect... I hated myself for so long for being "self centered" as the neurotypicals would call me, because they didn't understand that I wasn't trying to "make them talk about me," I was literally trying to say "I understand what you mean, because I've felt something similar!"

Filled it out and would be interested in seeing the results. Honestly I think calling myself an "aspie" sounds cute, like nonbinary people who call themselves "enbies," but I wouldn't presume to call anyone else that, plus I agree there's ambiguity on typecasting "kinds" of autism like Aspergers.

I’m done w/ people who do that.

I’m fine with genuine RATIONAL POLITE disagreements or criticism. I have to point that out since I’ve been accused of/blocked for intolerance of diff opinions👈🏼which I’ve always welcomed

honestly tho, the #contentCreator s / #influencer s who should be most worried about the #ai apocalypse are "react" channels; they add so little to their videos* that it would be effortless to replace the "reactor" with an AI-generated robot.

*all the views come from people watching the viral tiktoks they're showing in the video, almost always without permission or even giving credit

Please note that I don't place "recap and review" creators in the same category as "video reactors." One actually takes time and effort to transform and add to the content they're talking about (examples: Kurtis Connor, Dreew Gooden, Chad Chad), the other makes stupid faces to the side while the only interesting parts of the videos are the stolen shorts they play on the other side of the screen (examples: sssniperwolf, xQc, Asmondgold, penguinz0, a thousand other millionaire content thieves)

Then there are the "Creators" who don't have full skits but who at least spend more time talking about the videos than just passively watching them, who are more on-the-fence, but I would usually argue lean more towards the former than the latter.
