Jede Kürzung an öffentlichen Haushalten ist eine politische Entscheidung und ein politisches Statement. Es ist immer genug Geld da, wenn man es will ("Doppelwums", Aktienrente, Bundeswehr). Die Tatsache, dass Sozialleistungen gestrichen werden, dass Demokratieförderung geschleift wird, dass wir in keine öffentliche Infrastruktur (Bildung, Schienen, etc) ernsthaft investieren ist keine Zwang, das ist politischer Wille.

Lindner und seine Marktsprallos wollen ganz explizit, soziale Programme, nicht marktorientierte Lösungen verwüsten.

    @2ndStar @bauhausmensch Meine aktuelle Partei hat daraus keines gemacht. Als Mandatsträger - immer noch - für die Piratenpartei kriege ich da aber die Hand nicht aus dem Gesicht. Fremdscham. Fällt halt auf mich zurück.

    no, that's not what it's called in German, but it feels like it

    in the overly complicated German word, you will find traces of the Norwegian word, but it takes a bit of deciphering...

    @thor Just because the English language - which used to have notably more cases as well - has "evolved" into something that barely has any grammar... ;-)

    Many European languages are more complicated, and even some Asian languages have a more complex grammar than we do. However, I liked Old German more. It was more logical.

    @thor One of the reasons why I want to visit Iceland one day is the language, indeed. Although I probably won't try to learn it, I like its sound and its use of the þ letter. I'm easy to entertain.

    The only Scandinavian language which I understand relatively well is Danish, and it has come far indeed.

    @experiencersinternational @octofloofy So the problem effectively boils down to "I chose a server that only serves broken operating systems and now I'm stuck with it". Not a Calckey problem, if you ask me. :o)

    @experiencersinternational @octofloofy The original post was basically "Linux is too hard to use". I will not recommend OpenBSD to just everyone. Still, nobody is required to use Linux. There are more user-friendly systems available.
