Honestly its only worth it, if its a combined effort to revive local production while make sure that the taxpayer directly benefits from the billions in public funding that the companies get.

Public money = public product and research results

Trade secrets dont really need to be protected anymore these days, because this level of production is only possible with huuge preexisting capital or public funding anyways. If you remove the unregulated import flooding then there wont be any internal competition, so we need to compensate for that by at least stopping the intelectual property / patent disaster.

What if any Fediverse instance's make this DRM that Facebook has, with posts being locked for users not signed in. This can help with those who are scared of AI “taking over” because let's be real, AI just grabs the information you post online. If we do this, would AI “die”?

I don't personally care so to speak, as AI will not care, or sorry, these companies developing the AI LLM's will counter new strategies to obtain PII from websites.

Your not wrong, everyone hates musk and the fact that the project received absurd amounts of tax funding. But thats not a secret, if you actually look at the protests, they are openly anti capitalist and anti car in general. Honestly probably less cruel than keeping pandas in a cage. Dogs are domesticated and kinda used to having their freedom of movement restricted.

I didnt say it that its not cruel to cage dogs. I said its less cruel than caging a panda because they are more used to it.

I dont know if its fair to call it that, but dogs are probably still pretty “sad” about sitting inside doing nothing all day, especially when they are alone. If you have ever lived with a farm dog that was free to go out and wherever it wants 24/7 by itself, then indoor “incarcerated” dogs will seem like an empty shell to you.

Well they already officially executed people living there, that were opposed to the plan so not really surprised with this one.

Maybe the imaginary gods can make a special hell of endless torment for these people, because they will never see the inside of a prison in this plane of existence most likely.

All the western people and companies that got involved in this project, and now back paddled after seeing what happened, can also jump of the next bridge, because nobody works for the Saudis without knowing how little of a fuck they give about human lives. Its just completely common knowledge.
