Any of you aware of a that works with GNOME, Mozilla, and Thunderbird that actually gets out of the way?

What I'd like to see is my password store being automatically unlocked by my normal login password, locked when the lock screen comes on, and re-encrypted when I change my login password.

I know I can do some of this with Seahorse and pam_gnome_keyring, but this doesn't help with the Firefox/Thunderbird password manager.

@Werhaus Sorry, I don't follow. Automatically locking and unlocking the password manager is the point of the question, so I don't see how this answer relates.

Perfect green asparagus as a side:

Chop the woody ends off the shoots.
Heat olive oil in large frying pan on medium heat.
Chuck in asparagus and a pinch of salt.
Close lid, sauté for about 5-7 minutes. Shake pan occasionally.
Sprinkle on about a tablespoon of sugar, continue sautéing for 3 minutes until sugar has caramelised.
Add a solid splash of balsamic vinegar, shake, continue cooking with the lid off until the vinegar has almost evaporated (1-2 minutes).
Serve.

On Saturday, I was invited by a friend to come over for an asparagus dinner.

For those who don't know, Germans go absolutely WILD for asparagus around this time of year.

I was a bit nervous. as I never liked asparagus, so in the 8 years of living here, I just never joined in . So this would be the first time I tried them here.

Well, I've been missing out, it was super delicious, and I wonder what was wrong with all the other asparagus meals I had before.

The sheer amount of academia-specific spam my mostly dormant university email account gets boggles the mind. There must be a huge business in fake conferences and fake journals for me to get >5 trash, but academia-specific spam emails per day

Die Meinung der ÖBB ist wohl dass du, wenn du im Railjet arbeiten willst, auch Geld für den Business Class-Aufpreis locker machen kannst. Dort sind die Sitze nämlich sowohl arbeits- als auch erholungstauglich.

Serious question: why is it that so many people apparently have real problems adopting ISO 8601 dates and UTC, in a professional context?

As in, are those somehow fundamentally incompatible with human nature? Or do people just completely lack the cultural awareness to understand that some of their colleagues are used to a different date format than they are, or live in a different timezone, or don't use daylight saving time?
