And we are back online. There was a problem with the hardware we couldn't fix on our own so we had to wait for a technician to fix it for us. Now there will be some lagging because of full queues for a while.

#BikeStreak, Day 63: A quick and e-assist-heavy midnight round to the recycling yard and back to see which paths are suitable for riding with a bicycle trailer.

Saw the #VBZ #CargoTram at the recycling yard. It's most well-known use is to collect hazardous and bulky waste (in small amounts) inside the city and bringing it to the recycling yard over the tramway network. So no wonder I saw it parked there.

Slight rain and 7.1km at ca. 14℃. 90m climb on the way back.

Ihr seid bestimmt auch auf Instagram. Lässt man dort sein Profil offen, kommen derzeit täglich neue „Spam-Weiber“, wie ich dazu sage. Sie folgen, liken und kommentieren ohne Zusammenhang mit dem jeweiligen Bild.

Den eigenen Account auf privat setzen, ist aber auch suboptimal, weil potenzielle neue Follower nicht sehen, ob der Inhalt des Accounts sie anspricht.

Wie geht Ihr damit um?

Dazu 'ne selbstgehostete (und auch selbst programmierte) Webgalerie ohne Feed für Ferienbilder und ähnlichem unter https://gallery.noone.org/. (Achtung, das ist noch Web 2.0! 😉)

Aber Pixelfed wäre so potentiell der Kandidat, wenn ich mal mehr mit Mediendateien im Bereich Microblogging machen möchte.

"Fairer Wahlkampf" ist aber was anderes als wenn man eine Umfrage macht und rundherum (inklusive URL) sehr deutlich suggeriert, was die Leute abstimmen sollen. Dass sie nicht damit gerechnet haben, dass das viele echte Demokraten triggert, ist eigentlich realitätsfremd.

Auch Deutsche im Nicht-EU-Ausland (z.B. in der Schweiz) dürfen bei der 2024 wählen. Sie müssen aber wie bei der Bundestagswahl vorher die Aufnahme ins Wählerverzeichnis beantragen. Die Einreichungsfrist ist der 19. Mai 2024. Das ist kommenden Sonntag: https://www.bundeswahlleiterin.de/info/presse/mitteilungen/europawahl-2024/21_24_antragsfrist.html

Achtung, manche PDF-Reader (insbesondere PDF.js/Firefox) drucken das Geburtsdatum im Formular nicht mit aus. 2x von Hand nachtragen! Und 2x unterschreiben!
