Best thing I’ve seen in a while. Of course it’s in #SantaFe#NewMexico. At the entrance to a hiking trail. The idea is when you return to your car after a hike, you pour any unused water from your water bottles into Rusty’s mouth and, well, he “pees” it onto the young tree, to water it.
I love the little details, like the hex nuts as Rusty’s toes on his paws.

Well that was fun. My first time at PortalFest. Connected with a lot of neighbors. Def. needed more food trucks, as one backed out last minute. But that was compensated for by the family that was selling frito pies!
When I was in Santa Fe, we went to the Georgia Okeefe art museum, and they handed me an iPad with their audio tour loaded. After spending some time with it I realized it was the Bloomberg connects app with the Georgia Okeefe guide loaded up.
My wife and I realized I could just sit on the bench and work through the audio guide while she roamed around looking at the art. I also realized that I could install this app on my own iPhone and take virtual tours of different venues around the world. I just downloaded the app and took a tour of the Intrepid in New York city. https://www.bloombergconnects.org/#SantaFe#georgiaOkeefe#BloombergConnects#Intrepid
Over on tiktok user @nomadicpancakes has observed a group of #bees that have learned to turn on the sensor on a water bottle filling station by walking over the target.
This is just the kind of thing bees are made to learn, they love targets and need to follow them when dealing with flowers all the time.
The interesting thing is that the bee who hits the target produces water for her sisters, herself less so. But these #eusocial girls seem to have that worked out!
@trabern - Nice! Our tomatoes are just starting to ripen. Been eating Sungolds for a couple weeks, and the rest are getting bigger each day. I have some yellow thornless raspberries, which are amazingly tasty, and you'd be welcome to some plants if you have space for them. :-)
