There’s this one and !Minecraft this one seems to be a smaller one and wouldn’t it be good to create communities that run together instead of separate into multiple smaller ones that make no sense and get less traffic?
This one is a native /kbin magazine, the other one you linked is a Lemmy instance community. While the two sites work together through the Activity Pub protocol, there are some significant differences for the end user and that part of the beauty of the Fediverse, that there is choice. And the best part is that you can subscribe to both on either front end and see everything posted in the environment you enjoy most.
So if I have my Desktop at home, my personal laptop, and my laptop I use for work/business trips, can I have my own personal Linux setup on a portable drive that I can plug into and boot into from any of my devices? Like a cloud Linux setup, but I'm the cloud. Fear my cumulonimbus rumbles!
I noticed yesterday there seemed to be fewer and fewer thumbnail images appearing on the front page, and today there seems to be almost none at all. The ones I have seen so far seem to be from posts on this instance only, but I can't confirm that with certainty yet....
Ya know, I thought something felt different when scrolling lately. This is it! Yeah the thumbnails are absent for me. Using the PWA on Android Firefox fwiw
I just moved away from my 7T onto a Pixel 7. I love my 7T. It was definitely my favorite phone. But it seems like things have changed lately and the newer OnePlus phones aren't what they used to be. I still use my 7T as a game and media player for when I'm chilling in bed.
So my 10 yr old PC is just barely at the minimum. CPU is actually under with an i5 4690K. My 780ti should be ok though. Man I wish I had money for an upgrade

Am I missing out on anything by using the PWA on my Android phone vs accessing the site from my desktop browser?
Are there any features that are desktop only or are limited/hard to find on mobile that I may be missing?
