Sad news tonight. Nintendo of America has requested for 717 games and their images to be removed from The Vault. Each download plus it’s box art and screen shots are no longer available.
If the purge was real they'd have a private security firm there to turn you into a reddish paste.
The entire point (aside from being violence bait) of the movies is that the violence is a tool of the ruling class to keep the masses at each others throats.
Considering the leaders of Hamas are flitting around on private jets seeing all their fellow war criminals... I dont think we can say they're particularly oppressed or abused. Theyre just using those that are for their own malicious purposes.
Luke Skywalker had a weird wife named Mara Jade who was a femme fatal ex-Sith assassin with a purple lightsaber. Chewbacca died at the age of 225 years old when Star Wars’ Aldi brand Borg dropped a moon on him. The Death Star plans were not stolen by a ragtag bunch of rebel soldiers that included beloved martial arts leading...
So... in reading the article, it seems he suggest the government is using religion to manipulate people into forgetting about all the aliens they're hiding.
Cause if it's not on the entertainment system... they're just going to use their phone? And being afraid of technology because of a small subset of people you assume are misusing it is a little fanatical.
I doubt very much adblockers are to blame for that. They're a convenient excuse for those trying to squeeze as much money as possible from their users... but they would have gone that route no matter what. It's just the nature of the economic system we live in.
For some reason I’ve just never liked Spider-Man. He comes off as a whiney, ignorant child that never seems to grow up or mature despite everything he goes through. I love a good coming of age story, but he just never seems to become an adult.
He also does put money into trying to fix the city. Gotham is canonically cursed like five times over. No matter how much cash you mainline into the city it's not going to get better.
Because it's a tradition from the old testament that some (by no means all) churches use. It's nowhere near as universal as your own anecdotal references seem to imply.
