@GottaLaff My understanding from a trial attorney friend is that he knew she'd deny and now he has cause to challenge her as a (compromised) inexperienced and under-qualified judge for a case so important to our national security.

Little Mykhailo is going through the process of giving his DNA samples because his father didn’t make it home yesterday after the Russian terrorist attack on the Epicentr supermarket.

Due to the fire, experts fear they will have to sift through the ashes to identify the remains and the dead.

Ukraine needs the strengthening of its air defense systems so that children do not lose their parents in the maelstrom of Russian aggression!

Traffic at TS has been declining for months despite Trump flooding the site with posts about his high-profile NY criminal trial.

So here's how it's going:

We got all the furniture into the POD and now have to pack what's remaining in the kitchen. So things are a little messy

Our twins are down from Canada helping, & their dear friend is here for the night from San Diego, to see them. We adore her. But it's a little chaotic

At 4:30 am we get a text--coincidentally we're awake--from our pal/realtor! We'd missed her earlier text, we have a showing today at 12:30. Oy. & why was SHE up?

Here’s an excellent article about important lawsuits just filed on behalf of Uvalde families who lost loved ones to a mass shooting there. The families, represented by the same attorney who represented the Sandy Hook families, are suing Daniel Defense, the maker of the AR-15 used by the shooter, as well as the publisher of Call of Duty video games and Meta. @heidilifeldman Thank you for that professional review of the complaint, Heidi. It’s sickening. As I read that I felt disgusted with my industry. How those people can live with themselves… well, I hope they cannot and will see what terrible pain and harm they’ve caused, all for more profits. I hope the lawsuits bankrupt and destroy them, just as they destroyed innocent lives and families.

No one should be promoting or selling firearms (or cigarettes, cannabis, or alcohol) to youth.

My husband is presenting in an all-day virtual conference with other experts in the field, including Dr. Edward Hallowell, for an /ADHD audience.

He put his slide deck on Slides as required. Then technical glitches occurred (slides weren’t fully loading) during the test run. The IT person asked him if he was on a Mac (he is). According to the IT person, they have trouble with Mac users being able to run slideshows when there are multiple presenters.

It’s 2024. C’mon man. 🙄

Sending anyone using Windows with Recall activated an email, an image, a file they open, engaging with them on social media, or getting on a Zoom call with them could mean your information is screen captured, catalogued, and stored.

We are ALL at increased #privacy risk. Think about that. Sure the individual could screenshot your email or convo. But this is far more insidious than that.

We bought an overpriced extended warranty from for our new dishwasher. It’s only a year old and suddenly doesn’t recognize that it’s filling with water, so it abruptly drains and shuts down.

We filed a claim using the warranty 2 weeks ago and we’ve been trying to get a repairman out or a replacement without success. No humans, just automated hell promising a repair person will be out in 2 days. Two weeks of this game. 🙄

It feels like every damned thing is a grift these days.

@Andres4NY Get a Miele if you can. After we bought the LG I got into a convo on here about the best dishwashers. Everyone complained about theirs, Bosch included, except the folks who paid the price for a Miele dishwasher. They said they were still going strong after 5 and 10 years. The Miele owners loved their dishwashers.
