I said screw it and used 4 of my 160 hours of vacation to take a half day. Things were slow and idle hands and what not... I was just walking around talking to people. Nice to kick off the weekend early.
One of the lilies in Mother's Day bouquet turned out to be enormous.

I spent the morning outside with a cup of tea enjoying the lovely 60°F (15°C) 🌞 weather. Dude missed his lap time 😾so I’ll have to make it up to him after my workout.
This morning we said goodbye to friends visiting from afar, it’s sad they live such a long distance away. We’ll miss their funny stories, lively spirits & just communicating alongside good people with similar mindsets.❤️
No plans so far #today, but that may change.

#food question for people outside the u.s. (or people here who've lived elsewhere!):
do you have a version of instant jello (jelly? gelatin dessert? haha), and/or instant pudding or custard made by adding milk? or anything else similar?
my local mexican supermarket has a brand with flavors like horchata and mango, and i just put some coconut jello (with frozen fruit!) into the fridge.
