I'm looking for a client that has a like threads. I don't like the timeline view where all the replies and new posts get tangled together.

Any recommendations?

is the easiest way to run local I've tried so far. In 5 minutes you can have a chatbot running on a local model. Dozens of models and UIs to choose from.
Just the speed is not great, but what can I expect on an Intel-only laptop.

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany the dealbreaker for me is that it requires admin access to the system (on Mac). That’s a no go.

ondrejsevcik, to typescript

For many projects, JSDoc may be better choice than TypeScript. Less tooling, less complexity, no build step, but still have the benefit of types.

Does anyone know how copyright works on mastodon?

Who owns the content?

Is it the Mastodon non profit? Server owner? Me? Or is it public domain? 🤔

I think it's time to bring back the Firefox OS project.

We need a mobile OS that's built with the web in mind more than ever.

> The 5-minute rule is a cognitive behavioral therapy technique for procrastination in which you set a goal of doing whatever it is you would otherwise avoid, but only do it for five minutes. What most people find is that after five minutes of doing something, it’s easy to continue until the task is done.

Well, turns out that this really works for me.

Lidi to fórum můžou sledovat přímo odsud.

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany nebylo by potom lepsi pouzit rovnou federated forum (e.g. Lemmy)?

Umělá inteligence a koncentrace bohatství

Next time someone tells you why biking would not work in your city - send them this website.

Another update about .

The limits are 1400% higher than set by WHO. It's becoming toxic.

Time to poke around some people to find out what can we do about it.

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany don't quote me on that, but somewhere I've seen that major problem are local homes using coal for heating (70%), then cars (20%) and then the rest.

Poland probably has some influence, but it is not the major one. Especially today, since the wind is blowing towards Poland.

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany 100%. I'm still surprised/disappointed that people can buy coal these days.

There are government programs supporting replacement, yet it is all optional.

Great day for users.

Google finally fixed Google Meet and made background/blur features available in Firefox.

I know some people used Chrome only to have this feature.

I woke up today and just did it. No feelings. I wrote Twitter off a long time ago.

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany when was the last time you logged in?

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany that's concerning. Seems like they are deleting accounts that are not actively posting.

ondrejsevcik,

@sesivany ah, sorry. My bad. I thought “they” did it.

This is probably how people should pick their browser.

https://privacytests.org

ondrejsevcik,

@mitexleo @Vivaldi I suppose it's just Chrome with different UI. Same flaws though.

ondrejsevcik,

@Vivaldi @mitexleo Why not make it private by default then?
