I'd rather not have copyright (and patents) either but I don't want copyright abolition without also a lot of other kinds of abolitions because otherwise we're pretty much doomed to having no devices that we own.
And for me ancap is missing the entire point of why anarchism got created in industrial revolution, most of the problems the state poses also exists with megacorps (and association of both is horribly awful).
Like you'd replace police with private milicia, and from there they can claim they own everything between each others.
For example open marketplaces and other kind of bazaar would be essentially gone.
I currently have subscriptions for both #Nebula and #Dropout and I gotta say the UX is much worse from Dropout.
Mostly, it's just that Dropout videos are routinely stuttering and buffering. But, they also don't remember the videos I've watched correctly and don't support the playback speed I normally use.
The organization is also rather confusing for me in Dropout, with links to series with 0 seasons and seasons with 0 videos and some videos being listed as part of multiple series.
Thing is, GenAI is just a method. It's a technique. It's a brush. It's way more accessible and forgiving than brushes of old (which I try as I might, fail to see as a bad thing in the grand scheme of things), but still - a brush is only as good as a person holding it. If you don't have a creative side, if you are not an artist, you will suck, and your art will be hollow, AI or not.
Looking at the pics available it looks pretty cool. I would definitely take a look at it to go electric but my current wrangler is going to be hard to give up.
Nah it was peak technology. We got things like fuel injection and ABS. There were standard radios. Components were simple, easy to diagnose, and inexpensive.
Things left to do: drill a hole for the indicator lamp, drill holes for the thermocouple binding posts, cut a panel for the back, wire everything together, stain the wood, dymo labels

@Geojoek Every HF radio I own (except one) has been USED. I am a fan of used, because I fix things. I used to sell a lot more on Ebay (of stuff I repaired), but then ran into a scammer (purchased/complained to eBay/did not return hardware/ran off with the money AND the hardware). eBay is pro-buyer even if they're scamming you. That said, I have no problem buying used at a ham fest at all... easy enough to tell what's going on with a radio. eBay tends to be okay but at the highest price (too expensive), and QRZ has scammers for sure... gotta watch out on there. There are a few hams who have had their callsigns stolen and the scammers use them on QRZ to offer up too-goo-to-be-true deals.

After over a decade, all my student loans are finally paid off! Hard to believe. All of the money from my workshops, books, etc went into that and now they're done 🥳🎉🥂
I made a lot of new online friends at the start, but everyone kind of dropped off once the world opened back up and everyone pretended life was back to normal. No one wanted to meet online anymore. The Zoom fatigue was real.
