Colin Kaepernick was banned from the NFL because he dared suggest that police stop murdering innocent African-Americans for trivial reasons, but this guy? The team issues a "he doesn't represent us" statement and does nothing.

Women are half of the population, and not all men are sexist assholes, so we're talking about a good majority of the country that he pissed off even before we consider the antisemitism or the anti-LGBT parts of his speech.
The number of people he pissed off vastly exceeds the number of white supremacists who were angry about Colin Kaepernick.
Further, most white people want to believe that they aren't racist (which is odd given the reality of America).
I always look at the last 2-3 games . . . it all depends on how healthy we are by then and whether those games will mean a lot (and they probably will) . . .
@phen314 I see Gettleman as one of the villians who broke the NYG beyond repair, which eventually led to me leaving that fandom. (There were many reasons for that, but Gettleman's nonsense was way up the list.)
