@samhainnight Though remember that this happened in the UK, which doesn't have the same litigation culture as the USA. (Heaven help you if you're sued for Libel, though.)
@GhostOnTheHalfShell@alexanderhay there will be arguments that private companies do not need to follow due process, but then the private service company will probably share data across customers making it effectively a quasi-public ban. Which personally I think is against the spirit of due process guarantees - but our current legal system is far to accommodating to corporations over actual human rights.
It's only full fascism when the government does it. If every business in the world does it while the government looks the other way then it's just sparkling capitalism.
