There are times I've wanted to give up using a separate #camera (from a smartphone).
This is the picture that convinced me it was still worth it.
It's not the epitome of composition or anything like that. I was partly burned out from doing some paid #photography to recreate reference shots.
I took this from hiking a single section of the #CaminoDeSantiago between #Donostia (San Sebastian, #BasqueCountry) and Pasaia. It was the only photo I took before I gave up and switched to my phone – it stayed in a bag for months after that.
After finally downloading the card, zooming in and tracing lines of the emptying tide – I was convinced that it's still something I want to do from time to time. Even if it's just for the fun of it.
I walked a portion of the #CaminoDeSantiago in the lower Pyrenees #Mountains through mist with broken sunlight. One of the most beautiful forests I've experienced during my travels.
