Ohhkay, off to a 110 km timed gravel ride. It's not my longest this year, but it is longest on gravel, and I'm not familiar with the route ahead of time. That kind of makes this exciting. Strategy for getting the 4.5 yo to (finally) take interest in the balance bike (owned since he was 2): strap it to the ebike everywhere we go, and eventually one day he says “I want to ride my bike!” And then one day later he starts to get the hang of it and insists, “I’m going to ride it home!” (No you aren’t, kid, you are already about to collapse from exhaustion and home is 2 miles away). Beryl dominated English racing #cycling across the UK winning nearly 100 domestic championships and seven world titles. She set the women’s record for the 12 hour time-trial which exceeded the men’s record for two years.
Day 26 of #Running recovery break, featuring 26km of #Cycling around #Ottawa, passing 200km of cycling this so far this month. Felt really windy today in various spots, and the tulips are up in most places I could see them.
