Hi there - looking through the filtering system of Mastodon, there are many good ways to tune my feed. However, I often get posts listed in a language I have not ticked in my profile. (Through boosts or followed hashtags, mostly.)
Some of these, I can of course use the "Translate" feature, but for the most part, I'd rather not see them at all. Is there a way to effectively filter out posts that are correctly tagged with a language that don’t match what I have specified in my profile?
Ok fedi hivemind, #advice requested. I have to carry around a fairly sizeable number of pills in my pocket for extended periods, more than can be handled by a keychain pill bottle. I have been just using an old pill bottle, but these pills are tablets not capsules and the motion of them in my pocket is slowly but surely rendering them into dust. Any suggestions? #Vivaldi browser failed again. I don't know why is that issue so singular with cdrom.tokyo site that becomes blank and I'm forced to delete all data from Vivaldi to make the site back online. (even I have to re-log in every site and make new passwords for each accounts.
Happened the same with the other apps as #Brave and Dissenter before. Is that because of cdrom.tokyo?

I had to mute over 200 posts in the last 30 minutes or so. Cleaning up the feeds so you can get to a few good posts will take lots of effort because there's no algorithm
You'll notice many posts come from sources like dlvr ... review them and use filter/block
Looking for someone who has experience with Advanced Custom Fields for WordPress. Does anyone know of a program or a website (that doesn't look like it's from the 1990s and sketchy) that can compress PDFs?
I've been trying to compress them myself and man, the images all turn out looking like modem downloadable quality. Super pixelated and jaggy artifacts. I've tried for 144 dpi thinking it'll be fine and it's the same issue.
To be clearer, I want to compress the file size as opposed to the images (I've already optimized/compressed them as best as I can to minimize the size).
For added details: the PDFs in question are exported from InDesign CS5, so I can't "pick" a custom resolution like I can in Affinity Publisher. I've tried Adobe Acrobat Pro (a very old version lol) and that...kinda didn't work either.
Yesterday was my first day not being employed by the university anymore and I'm already running into problems. I cant access all those journals anymore!
