A video emerged showing a falling Russian aerial vehicle in the Russian-occupied Luhansk region. It is possibly one of the planes which Ukrainian forces shot down this morning.

#Kharkiv/#Luhansk: Russian forces cont'd intensified offensive operations SE of #Kupyansk on Jan. 22 and reportedly advanced. Several Russian milbloggers claimed that Russian forces continued efforts to advance southwest of #Krokhmalne near #Berestove (25km SE of Kupyansk).
Since the war in Ukraine began, thousands of people have fled Russian-occupied areas over myriad routes. Now, nearly two years in, “the corridor” is their only option to cross directly into #Ukraine.
Allowed to move freely through Russian-controlled zones, most take buses to the corridor from homes throughout the country: #Zaporizhzhia and #Kherson in the southeast, #Donetsk and #Luhansk in the northeast, and #Crimea, the southern peninsula that #Russia annexed in 2014.
#Zelensky’s and Zaluzhnyi's statements notably identified the areas of the front where Ukrainian forces are chiefly focusing on defensive operations such as the #Kharkiv-#Luhansk Oblast border line, most of #Donetsk Oblast, and #Kherson Oblast.
Zelensky and Zaluzhnyi notably did not mention the #Zaporizhia Oblast axis—suggesting that #Ukrainian forces have not gone over to the defensive in this area.
