On my walk today I found a piece of street art which pays homage to one of the favourite portraits in the Harris museum in Preston, Pauline in the Yellow Dress.

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division has safely arrested 5 people on Clarence St. in #NorthPreston after executing a search warrant at a home.
The investigation remains ongoing.
There is no threat to public safety at this time.

We buy our milk from a milkman (local farmer) who delivers the milk to the doorstep and takes away the washed empty glass bottles 6 days a week. He also delivers 1 dozen eggs each week

A delayed train meant a just missed connection, but this was an unexpected chance to have a 45 minute wander around #Preston, where I found a lovely garden by the Ribble. #SlowTravelSeeMore
upside...despite wasting a total of 2 hours (bussing to one clinic, where they had no more slots, and walking 30 mins to another clinic with the 3 hour wait, then walking again for 20 mins to bus stop and then home)...i got to at least explore new parts of #preston on foot #photography
