Gold buyers in China are getting younger, as a property market downturn, weakening stocks and currency and low bank deposit interest rates have left them with dwindling options to save for rainy days in a sputtering economy. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/business/2023/12/11/economy/china-youth-gold-invest/?utm_content=buffer5d77a&utm_medium=social&utm_source=mastodon&utm_campaign=bffmstdn

What President should be doing is reversing . Unfortunately he's treating the current (according to the media, anyway) , which I regard as a feature, as an antifeature, and is instructing the Fed to extinguish this rare burst of opportunity. confronted the real problem of "" ( and together) by very firmly prioritizing inflation fighting over unemployment fighting, and I will NEVER forgive him for that. Ever since the Bill "government is the problem" wing took over the the working class has no allies in Washington (except the "rump" faction of the Democratic caucuses). But I'm optimistic for the future. 1932 to 1980 was 48 years. I figure we're in for a good strong by , and I'm here for it!

REMINDER

INSURANCE PARASITES do not want USA to have federally paid health care, a transcontinental public transportation system, federally underwritten affordable housing and even less, free public housing .

the scam was to dismantle the barely there welfare system, while making workers pay for our own welfare thru insurance & personal debt (credit cards, student loans, mortgages, car loans) that lines the pockets of the parasite class

When Ronald Reagan became President he strived for a 30% reduction in Federal aid to education. We saw horrendous cut in subsidies for school lunches. School districts suffered by the quadruple whammy of Federal cuts, state tax ceilings, loss of state revenue from taxes, and hostility to property taxes. They responded by laying off personnel, enlarging classes, simplifying curriculums, and taking other steps, all of which reduced parent & student satisfaction.

I'm sure everyone is wondering the same thing that I am: What are the implications for the registration of for cannabis products?

@design_law where are the reparations for all the lives destroyed by led by the genocidal ? nobody should get to trademark shit until everybody incarcerated for marijuana related offenses are freed and they, along with the surviving families of the dead get monetary restitution.

it's criminal this is being expedited while millions are still living with the consequences of fascist policies.

Biden can be a transformational president if we can get him enough support. It's time to bury Reaganomics forever.

If you want an economy and policy that works for the people of this country, and this counts for those way up top because it eventually gets to them, too, vote wisely.

These mornings I'm wide awake early, I sit on the couch with the dogs and cats and hubby, watching local news.

Today's tip from the local news regarding college: don't take out more than you'll make in a year.

What sort of bullshit is this? Even a state university these days costs more than that. How about taxing the fucking rich to pay for free state college and university for all? No means testing, no exceptions. Kid, you wanna go to college? Off you go debt free.
