Spent the morning learning about Salesforce + Azure SSO. Setting up in the sandbox wasn't clear in any docs I found.
Sure, the normal steps for SAML config as in any system. Directions are lacking about how to manage this in SF sandboxes where all usernames are appended with .sandbox.
Turns out there is a "Federated ID" field on every user - you can change that to the original value and it works.

I’ve had to go back to #Chrome as my default browser at work. #Salesforce just has too many annoying bugs and conflicts with add-ons in Firefox. Devs prioritize utilities for Chrome first and it shows.
Still #Firefox for any and all personal browsing. The separation is kinda nice actually.
It's really awesome when working with a client who wants to implement #Salesforce, and they really go out of their way to provide useful, helpful answers to questions during what we call the discovery process. This has the potential to be a huge, complex project, but having communicative and friendly people on the other end makes such a tremendous difference.

Welp, here we go. Learning about Salesforce and racking up the newb badges. I have to say, they are going about this the right way with extensive training and communities setup for free.
You don't need a subscription or anything. And, you can spin up VM's of environments to play around with, mess up, delete, etc. easily.
